Weekly Devotions

In times of trial, fear, and uncertainty, the enemy often attempts to whisper lies into our ears. He wants us to believe that our current hardship is the end of the story. But scripture gives us a firm rock to stand upon.

Isaiah 54:17 declares boldly that 'no weapon formed against you shall prosper.' Notice that it doesn't say weapons won't form; trials and obstacles will certainly arise in this life. But they will NOT prosper against God's children.

God's grace is greater than your biggest obstacle. His plans for you are for hope and a future. When you feel overwhelmed this week, fix your eyes upon Jesus. Remind yourself that God goes before you, walks beside you, and hedges you in from behind.
